A recent pic of my Foz, taken for my 'for sale' advert.

Still trying to decide what to buy next [a Forester STi is a tough act to follow]. An AMG of some kind is certainly high up the list, as is a Jag XFR...but I keep coming back to the idea of a Legacy estate. For probably 40% less cash, compared to say a decent E55 estate, I could get a very nice Legacy.

Problem is, there isn't exactly a bunch of nice auto Legacy estates for sale and, if my Foz was to sell soon, I can't be car-less for the time it would take to freshly import one.

Here's my LEGACY Spec B

Call me bonkers but it's an amazing drive and I have it up for sale. Why?????

Only to replace it with another Legacy and hopefully get a Tuned by STI.

This is mine 3.0R spec B 6 speed manual.
An eBay buy after looking for a manual for a while. I wanted a new estate car for fishing and dog moving but something a bit interesting to drive as well that won’t break the bank.
First Subaru and so far well impressed with the build quality and performance

Hi all - thought I’d post a pic of my 2005 STI PPP. Had her 3 years and still absolutely love it! 40K miles and touch wood all she’s needed in recent years are new rear shocks. I don’t get to drive it that much but never fails to put a smile on my chops.

She’s completely standard bar the high level spoiler which the original owner added and that’s how she’s going to stay.

@300SL, I recently moved on BJ06EVG! 'twas an Outback Rn, and it left the family (one-in, one-out policy) to facilitate the purchase of this Spec B 3.0R.

I spotted it whilst pricing up some winter jobs for the Outback and quickly realised that Outback Sale + Winter Jobs would get me into this.

£2,700 engine rebuild last year, Prodrive exhaust, big injectors and a massive history file of owners who have clearly loved the old girl dearly. Flappy paddles, but the software-induced throttle blips on downshifts are fun spin

Just got my Forester back from getting the bumpers resprayed so thought it would be time to pop a few pictures in here. Appreciate the 'bra' might not be to everyone's liking, its a new addition I am trying (plus hides the stone chips, its done 118k!). Fairly standard 2.5 XT with a few tweaks, hybrid turbo, straight through centre section, prodrive backbox, cosworth panel filter and a remap - around 270hp. Also has KYB struts and springs on the rear with an STI ARB.

How are folks finding the bigger newer shaped Forester? I'd be looking at 63plate. I've loved all my previous Subaru's.

I like the styling, but none of the power trains excite me I am afraid. If I was going to spend ‘new car money’ I think I would get a Legacy Wagon 402 imported

Thanks, unfortunately it was time to move on.
Just means subtle mods have already been added to the next one smile

No complaints here.

Went from a 3.0r Outback to a SJ XT. The only concern was the CVT, and how it would drive. Took 2mins to decide it's not a issue.
The CVT is far better than the 5EAT it replaces.
The XT also has the newer FA20 DIT engine, which is twinscroll and chain drive.
