Tvr club Belgium needs your help

Hi all,
The Tvr club in Belgium are going through a relaunch. We know there are lots of TVR owners who aren't members and lots of members who dont join the events .........so the help we want is what needs to be done at the club to make you want to join. What should we do more of or less of. We've got an AGM and it would be great if you could give the club some ideas.
Keep the ideas and thoughts coming as we will keep working your ideas to help us improve.

Hiya Rudy,
The committee are needing to be replaced and i just want some inputs from TVR owners, club members or not, as to what the club needs to be to attract TVR owners that have left, or not joined or are members but dont feel motivated to join the meetings.
Im not on the committee and dont want to be, but i know TVR owners are great people and the club should apeal to all of us.
We need more members, more cars, more classic TVR as well as the newer ones and we need a programme that gives them a reason to join. Im just trying to get a few ideas to feed into the new committee to encourage us to evolve.
For example the facebook group meet once a month for a coffee and we talk about cars and the oily bits. Weve got people who are rebuilding cars and we talk about that. Then we might go for a drive but its very casual as we all have busy lives but its nice to get out for a few hours and meet like minded people.
I think the formal club and the facebook group can happily co-exist but im keen to bring fresh blood and ideas into the formal TVR belgium club
I hope that sort of explains my thinking

Hi Barrie,
Just seen your post (and Club thread).
I bought my Cerb back in 2005.
During the first year I wanted to contact everyone so joined the Belgian Club.
I turned up at the New Year meeting and everyone seemed very friendly but my Wife wasn't happy.
This has persisted ever since but we have now worked a way to co-exist as a threesome.
I managed to put 100K miles on her after 13 years (Was it a message from the King od Luck) before I had an accident which damaged the bodywork.
Due to complications in my insurance cover I had to search for the cash myself. This gave me a new headache as I had become unemployed.
I thought that it might take me several months to find the cash so I decided to take her off the road to perform a big service.
This service has now been going for 33 months
BUT
I feel the end is in sight.
I am writing to ask if you know any good, reliable, experienced (in Glassfibre) repair specialists in TVR-style paint jobs.
Perhaps if we can start to communicate on this subject then we can grow a stronger, more productive relationship.
I have been the WebMaser on the Luxembourg TVR Site since its inception and have taken over running the Club this year.
I was the UK's TVRCC Cerbera Editor for 10 years.
I feel your pain with what I class as the 'apathy' in the members I have met - with the exception of Chris Willy's TVRiders Blackforest Club of Germany and would love to help in organising a "Come Back" Gig for the post-Lockdown European Party.
