I was mooching about in Asda when I saw some of this stuff on sale. £5.99 reduced to £3.00 for 1 litre so there's quite a lot of product per £.

After cleaning the Clubman today, rather than spray it on the wheels, which is messy, I sprayed some on a sponge and applied it to the sidewall. The stuff seemed to transfer really well from the sponge - 2-3 small squirts on the sponge per tyre.

This afternoon I came back from weekend duties to see that it's settled to a really nice satin shine and the product has merged 2-3 cm into the tread so it really seems to spread itself out. Durability? Don't know yet. But the spread into the tread seems to make the overall look look a lot better than just sidewall treatment.

It's not normally a product I would buy as I tend to err more to the premium end, but when I have to wash/wax/detail 3 of my cars and then my parents it's nice to have a supply of stuff that doesn't cost much that just does the job.

I bought some too but wasn't impressed with it; I sprayed it on and just let it dry, it didn't seem to make any discernible difference! I'll try wiping it on instead and see if that's any better.

satin shine? That put me off , as i like my tyres to have a wet glossy shine.
