Yup, the dreaded Merc folding roof leak.
But it seems there may be a solution to it without going through the whole process of taking out the headliner and adjusting / replacing the rubbers. A lubricant called Krytox seems like snake oil by the claims, but folks online suggest it works.
Ordered 30ml for about 50quid (!!) but it doesn’t arrive for over a week. Also going to pick up an extractor to get the water out of the carpets, hopefully between showers this afternoon.
If it rains constantly we are gonna have some very clean rugs and upholstery in the house instead.
