Hello,

I have just got an old Sparkrite TX1002 electronic ignition box off ebay which is 20 years+ old, unfortunately it didnt come with any instructions, I dont suppose anyone out there has one fitted to their car. It has five wires coming out of it. There is a blue one, a green one, yellow one, white one, and an orange one.

We believe the green is earth, the white one is the distributor cable.
Any ideas?

Cheers,
Peter Medley

It's an awful long time since I played with such things but possibly...
Blue=Supply +12v
Green=Ground
White=Points
Orange=Coil -ve

Try and get conformation before you wire it up though!

Thanks for the information, do you know what the yellow wire is for on the sparkrite? I agree for the rest of the wires it is just this last yellow one I am not sure about?

Cheers
