Towing electrics - how much should I pay?

I'm considering getting the electrics installed on my tow bar so I can tow a motorbike trailer. How much would I expect pay an auto sparky to do the electrics? It isn't plug and play so will need splicing in...brake lights etc

I can't answer your question, but what i can say is that whatever you pay is worth it.

I've spent an entire morning doing mine, having to strip out half the interior and then some of the vehicle wires being different colours to the instructions.

I pad £70 at GT Towing to put trailer electrics on a 13 pin socket on my Peugeot Partner - that didn't need any car-specific modules though. Full caravan electrics would've been about £150 I think.

I paid about £75 to convert my 9 pin to a 13 pin, he had to run wires front to rear under my van to match the factory wiring.
