Anyone seen this? https://stradamagazine.co.uk/

Focusing on cars of the 80s, 90s and 2000s, it's a quarterly publication for a tenner (£30 for the annual sub).

Pretty tempted to give it a punt to replace the sorely missed "Modern Classics" magazine that I enjoyed so much...

Been keeping an eye on this, as really miss Modern Classics.

The new magazine looks good, just not sure I can justify £10 a copy!

It's quarterly, so £10 doesn't seem that bad.

More of a frustration for me (as with the Road Rat) is the paper only decision. I get people are doing the "take time to get away from the computer" thing, but I don't want to be storing reams of bloody tree again.

Looks good although my only criticism is there is never enough Italian content in them. Its called Strada - why isn't the 130TC in there, particularly given it was the hottest hatch when it came out.

Instead we have yet another article about 205 GTIs. I've had 2 and they were good but come on!

Funnily enough, guess what’s in issue 2 wink

hehe

Despite misgivings about paper only, I've relented and gone for the annual sub.

I went to order the first issue for £10 on the website.

When I went to pay it said "auto renewal"

Does this mean it'll be taking the £10 for every issue that comes out?

I just wanted to buy the first one for now.

Hi – a single issue is just that, it won't make you buy another. Single issues are available (I'd post a link but that might not be allowed) via the Issues tab on the website.

Thank you Nathan, I look forward to my first read.

Thanks, subscribed. Hopefully it will fill that gap that the demise of Modern Classics has left in my life!

Subscribed, trying to maximise time away from screens and letting the mind relax. So magazines help, posting about reading magazines doesn’t 🤣😂

Thankyou, and Thankyou to everyone who's subscribed or bought the first issue. Copies should be arriving over the next few days; it was meant to be earlier but a last-minute hitch and Easter has delayed things slightly.

There'll be special something we've done with Pistonheads that should go live today or tomorrow, which should flesh out what Strada is and where it came from. All has something to do with a Maserati Ghibli II... not the first magazine with that car to thank for its inception....

Excellent news Nathan.

If you can follow in the footsteps of early days Evo in any way, you will certainly be onto a good thing in my opinion smile
