Just thought of another one. The Mk2 golf 2.0 16v Synchro I had made for me. I have never got anything down a B-road faster than that to date! It could hold 60mph where my Porsches and M series BMW's would never get over 50mph even with a lot of bravery!

Ditto, I loved my S2. Cost peanuts to run, sounded fantastic and was plenty fast enough for normal road use. Sold it for a Chimaera which cost me a fortune to run and was no where near as fun to drive!
+1 My old S3 was superb. Full of character and used back then as my daily car. Found PH due to the car, made some great PH mates, attended way too many PH parties, hooked up with PH ladies and got drunk many, many times.

Was devastated when the new owner drove the car away.

I sold my Esprit in a moment of madness.

And I really missed it.

So when I saw it for sale again a few years later, I bought it back.

Only sold our Ramshackle truck a few weeks ago for £650 but I already miss it. Slow as fk but so useful, so much fun and so much character.

My biggest regret thugh is elling my mint Jetta 16V GTi loved it but wanted RWD, sold it to a mate who loved it as well hoping he would look after it. He wrote it off 6 months later, pr1ck.

It went from this:

To this:

I'm still gutted about it, wish I had what was left of it to do a full rebuild, no expense spared.
