CH must be seen by the teams board to be the right man for the job, and he's extremely passionate and ultimately honest at least. He's just... How do I say this nicely...
Imagine a large bell. He's the end part of that bell.
But his wife is very lovely so she must see another side

I'll watch live, otherwise I'll know the result before I watch... One way or another.
I hope there's a few others online on this thread as I think there will be a lot to discuss as it unfolds. I'm pretty sure there will be some surprises performance-wise that were carefully not revealed during testing.
So.. 6am on Saturday for qualifying then.. I'll be watching. I don't think I'll make the effort for practice. P3 is at 3am.. that's more of a late night than an early morning!

I really hope LeClerc will win
Me too.Whilst I'm in no way a betting man, I thought I'd fancy a flutter on him to win the WDC this year.
Googled the odds and oddschecker came back with 10/1 to finish in the points and 2000/1 to finish in the top 3 at Melbourne.
I'll have me some of that I thought, opened Ladbrooks account, loaded up a whopping £15 and placed the bet.
Or tried to at least. Turns out that these were the odds from last year

I had an each way bet on him to win the Championship this year as soon as I found out he way going to Ferrari. Whilst I'm in no way a betting man, I thought I'd fancy a flutter on him to win the WDC this year.

I got 9/1 which I thought was a fair price.

FWIW some ridiculous F1 predictions from me:
If the Ferrari is better than the Merc (I doubt it, despite the talk) LeClerc will show Vettel how it's done. In which case Vettel will announce he's leaving Ferrari around mid-season.
The RB will be behind the Renault in qualy and race pace. Maybe at chassis-circuits the RB will do better.
Bottas will quickly confirm why he has No2 status at Merc.
McLaren will drag themselves to midfield-ish. 6th maybe 7th team.
Williams will jog around the back, and get lapped a lot in the manner of Parmalat Tyrells.
And perhaps most controversially, Alonso will be back at McLaren before the end of the year.

Hopefully the Merc's have something in the tank, but I don't think they do.
I get that feeling too but I don't know why. It would be wrong to attribute it to their pace in testing, or what LH has said, as they always hold back in testing and he ALWAYS says he thinks they're slower than he knows they are. Yet despite having no identifiable basis for my suspicion, I do still get the hunch this year the Ferrari will be ahead...I think it may be simply be that Ferrari have shown a steady and fairly impressive return to being competitive over the last few years, and that logically a similar step forward this year is likely, and should see them get in front of Mercedes. Although, I'm sure Mercedes have considered that too... If I were placing a £10 bet, I'd bet in favour of Ferrari this season. But I wouldn't be that shocked to learn my hunch was wrong either.
The only thing I'd put down serious money on is Williams ending the year tenth in the constructors championship - but I don't think I'd get very worthwhile odds for that.
A few things will be revealed on Sunday:
The relative pace of the RB and Renault.
The relative pace of LeClerc and Vettel.
The relative pace of the Ferraris and Mercs.
These will probably change through the early part of the season, perhaps especially so with LeClerc. I reckon he'll try to hard, spin a few times, qually poorly and then collide following an ambitious overtake. However, on a clear lap he'll frighten Vettel.
If the Ferrari has the legs of the Merc then Ferrari will rein in one or other of their drivers after five races.
RB and Renault are the imponderables. If RB fail miserably then I could see this being their last season.
Renault's threat is to the bosses of the team. They need results by race 6.
It has the makings of being an exciting season.
