Alpha Tauri possible livery preview, or testing livery. Bare black carbon with white outline graphics.

That would be pretty neat. I noticed on the Merc livery reveal YouTube chat today that a lot of people thought a black F1 car was due... Black and white, kind of classic. Does it suit the brand though? Looking at this, I'd say yes: https://alphatauri.com/en-gb/about/?gclid=EAIaIQob...https://streamable.com/5nf6t
Black, white - and red highlights. Something of a departure from red bull colours. Looking forward to seeing the reveal.

Don’t Red Bull always test in black liveries?
They have twice I think, and so I think have Ferrari too - but that was to make it difficult to guage their aero tweaks, the black/white was effectively an optical illusion. These days testing is so much more public so no trying to hide - might as well give the sponsors a bit of extra screen time.I think for testing red bull might still use a very dark blue, almost black. They did either past year or year before - from memory..
A proper red bull (and b-team) fan will surely come along soon and correct me on all of the above

2015 is the most famous one I think, when they did the dazzle camouflage inspired livery.
Last year was very bold red on dark blue.
Thanks - I knew I was vaguely right!Last year was very bold red on dark blue.
The dazzle wouldn't work now as cameras apparently exist that can take take a shot of something and also record the depth in millimetres of each surface. From a few photos it would be possible to 3D model the entire car irrespective of how the human eye sees it - ain't technology great
I'd like to see a car painted in Vantablack:

Mind you, it would probably get very hot inside.

Oh, a quick google states that Formula E uses glycerine powered generators to recharge their batteries (not sure about the rest of the mobile power requirements though).
Btw I’m behind the scenes at a few E Prixs this yr, I’ll check if they have upgraded from diesel to bio diesel or some plant based fuel.Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
