I don’t think Brawn thought much of Hamilton when he arrived at Mercedes ?
What makes you say that?
Ross said it in a recent interview when praising Hammy’s 6th WDC.

He said he got his initial evaluation of Hamilton wrong but can now appreciate he’s a worthy multiple champion.

Yep.

Here's a question for you to ponder; have you ever met an intelligent Schumacher fan?

Seriously. Online, irl, on Mars ?

And by intelligent I'm not saying they must prove an IQ of over 100 (though I still consider that score pretty dumb but whatever) but as someone by your own measure, who appears intelligent. Perhaps they are articulate or have opinions on other subjects [besides poor taste in their favourite driver] that appear well reasoned. Etc.

Ime to answer my own question - no. I would say maybe one day I will but it's been roughly 20 years now and most of them have tried playing Russian roulette with a semi-automatic pistol by now...
Tribalistic support isn't limited to the stupid, although as it is with politics a certain amount of brain fade and loss of willingness to be objective in otherwise intelligent and thoughtful people does seem to manifest in discussions.

Just watching a documentary where they interviewed Ross and asked him about Michael.

He did say that sometimes Micheal’s competitiveness sometimes clouded his judgement, and then just smiled smile

JB is well-qualified to comment, having raced against both and raced in the monster V10 era, V8s and V6t hybrid era

Are there any interviews out there where a journalist has asked Ross Brawn "who is better - Schumacher or Hamilton?" and did he give a straight-up clear answer with reasons why?

Because on this difficult topic, Ross Brawn is the only one who has the experience and knowledge from working with both extensively to answer it.

So according to Mr Cognitive Dissonance and this thread now, Ross Brawn and Jenson Button are a bit thick hehe
