Formula Regional by Alpine on Youtube at 0950 (BST), followed by FIA F3 on Sky at 1105. Suspect these will be the races to watch today.
Aaaaaaaannnd farts out.

Why don't they let a proper TV station carry it?
Yep, frustrating. Had to hop to Facebook for the last lap. Seems that YoutTube thought that they were pirate streaming some of the official F1 footage.

Surely the only important ones to watch are the qualifying?

That’s a decent timetable of races over the weekend. At least one of the support races at Monaco ends up in total carnage every year.

My money this year would go on the Formula Regional cars, they’re all young and inexperienced drivers, most of whom will have never been to Monaco before. Their previous races this year on the F1 undercard have been very good. It’s a good little series (it’s what used to be known as the European F3 championship) and great to see them streaming the races for free.

Well, that summed up Monaco.

Even a Formula 2 sprint race can't provide any racing.

The event format certainly doesn’t help. No one in the top ten interested in risking anything that might screw up their grid position tomorrow morning. Only one proper move and that was to grab the important tenth position on the last lap.

A wet morning in Monaco for the F2. Looks tricky.

the first few laps looked very tricksy indeed, but there's a nice dry line forming now. Best not make a small mistake wink
Also, the marshals did a great job lifting that car out of T1 (sorry, forget the name) before the pack had completed even a single lap!

Well that was good smile

And I know he's not that popular... But ticktum did well today and showed some real talent imo. Credit where it's due.

Good drive by Ticktum there, but he always seems to run out of tyres way before the end of the race.

Great result for Lawson.

Lawson excluded for using the wrong throttle map. Ticktum wins.

Bumped Ticktum back up the drivers championship!

If he can just get through an entire season without being a bellend at some point he might yet have a decent future smile

EDIT: Sad to see him have to retire just now, fought a bloody good race again. Ahh st... Am I starting to like Ticktum!?!?

Yep, shame he couldn't keep the engine running. He's driven very well this weekend.

Great result for Pourchaire.

Really enjoyed this morning's sprint race and the feature race. A shame for Ticktum as he was on for a real decent points haul. Great drive by Pourchaire, sadly I missed the battle between him and Piastri in F3.

Also thought to myself that I may be warming to Ticktum. After his incident in the feature race I expected a proper tantrum on the radio, but he admitted fault.

The overtake on the outside there was hopeless... But he was only on the outside as he attempted the pass on the straight after the lock up.

He went for it like a racer, it didn't work out. He lost the race today but this weekend I reckon he's done his reputation and standing in motorsport a lot of good smile

He's at least more talented and less of a turd than mazepin yes
