Generally speaking, the less I know about other people's personal lives, the happier I am.

Especially in the office but goes for public figures too.
Indeed. In fact, I'm sick and tired of it now.

Either way DS will blame pussy for getting poor Horner into bother.

To be clear, are you suggesting that she has no cause of action against him personally in the ET or otherwise???

If so, to use your words, Wrong.

I think this will go to ET and the details will become public. Whoever the employee clearly has an axe to grind and I am fairly sure is not interested in the money.

Hilarious as always to see the interest this is causing amongst a "certain type" of supposed F1 fan! biglaugh

I assume they're distraught while they wait for the next series of "love island" or "the bachelor" to fill their otherwise empty lives!

Not to fear, their favourite program starts again tomorrow thumbuprofl

Hilarious the excuses that certain types of society will create for someone they emulate.

I particularly like the made up one about the whole sleaze event suddenly being retagged as ‘alleged’ because it was settled out of court.

Meanwhile in the real world bullst is bullst, a sleazebag is a sleazebag and a blowhard is a blow hard.

This thread keeps on giving. Its amazing. "if you spend a mere 10 seconds replying on a thread" about a guy thats as smarmy as they come and a sleazeball as some put......it means you have no life and yet ones with a "life" still have time to comment.

Lets get real here. In for the popcorn.

If it acts like a D*ck its a D*ck....no matter if said person has achieved what many feel is a great career....that doesnt deflect from.........see first part of sentence.

I think part of this thread reflects how low society has become in recent times.

I’m neither a curtain twitcher nor a pearl clutcher. And I certainly don’t stand in moral judgment of what he may or may not have done.

But I find Horner insufferable and his actions and those of his team have been to the detriment of my enjoyment of the sport.

So I’m having a jolly old time enjoying the schadenfreude of watching this whole thing unfold over the last year or so and continue to do so.

Horner is a sleazy knob. Plenty of people are.

What happened is a matter for him, Red Bull (in as far as his/their behaviour breached their respective contracts) and her, and possibly some other parties. None of it is in the public interest. It's pretty pedestrian, as scandals go, married boss bunks off with subordinate is a tale as old as time.

She'll get a "without prejudice" payout at some point, at whatever point in the process her lawyers think she's been offered a settlement figure in excess of what would be awarded in court, neither Red Bull or CH will admit any liability, per without prejudice, and that will be that. The world will meanwhile keep turning, as will this thread smile

It does merit clarification though.

As far as the sport goes all he's really done is wind up Toto and co. None of this PA stuff is relevant or contaminative to the sport whatsoever.

Like him or loathe him, performance wise his record speaks for itself. RB were never going to get rid of him.

You could look at some of the 452 pages of this thread, since I think we’ve covered it all before, but since you ask, primarily his total unwillingness or inability to reign in the dangerous and unsportsmanlike conduct of his driver.

Whilst simultaneously blowing smoke up his arse and then crying like a baby about every indiscretion of other drivers and teams.
