Mercedes is currently 3rd best car on the grid.

Rus is doing a decent job and should get a podium or win this season.

These guys are not interested in coming 4th.

That was my point, really. George is young, clearly the real deal, and at the start of his career. Lewis is 37 and is the most successful driver in F1 history. That's why I doubt he'd hang around like Kimi, just for something to do. He's done it all already.

If Merc starts to turn things around though, I think he'll definitely give it a go next season.

Valteri is a very handy driver but was relentlessly and repeatedly humbled by Hamilton.

Yeah, looks like 2022 could be a rough ride for Mercedes. Hopefully, they will turn it around.

George got a podium in Australia.

When you're outside of the top 2 teams the opportunities for race wins are few and far between unless rain is involved.
