So close. And ffs will ppl stop using ‘folk’ as a substitute for ‘people’ when we don’t have to use an unfortunate Americanism everywhere.
Oh… and Folk is an anglo saxon word so a bit before America but probably not you

With considerable trepidation, I'd like to weigh in here after watching her on the pre-race this morning.
I have to say that I've never been a big fan of Naomi, and that was confirmed yet again this morning. She dresses like a peacock, which isn't really a criticism since some people can pull off that look, but it is not one I like on her and which clearly seems designed to draw attention to herself, especially compared to the other presenters wardrobes. That aside, it may be symptomatic of the larger issue, in that she seems to like to present herself as having great expertise on the subject at hand. Today it was quite apparent that really isn't the case when they featured Ted and Bernie Collins doing the gridwalk in the absence of Brundle. Bernie was just excellent in that role, making informed comments and speaking from experience (and I find her accent quite charming too). When Naomi speaks, she likes to present herself as having expertise in whatever she is talking about, but I find she has little credibility when she does and I tend to dismiss her views. Her bona fides seem almost non-existent except as being perhaps an enthusiast in the sport, and so her comments often ring hollow and seem superficial, while her self-assured, almost smug style of presenting makes that seem even worse. I have no issue with her being on the Sky presentation, but they need to put her in a less front-and-centre role and let he learn both the sport and the TV business over time to let her grow into whatever role the producers want her to take on.

Wouldn't surprise me if the role that she's being groomed for is Simon Lazenby's.That may suit her skills.

Initially a supporter of Naomi, I've now seen a lot of her and am not so sure anymore.
I tend to agree with Greg in that she talks as if from a position of great relevant experience, but she doesn't have it.
She also talks over people a lot, and tries to dominate the mic .
