We're due a brilliant race. It's been nearly three weeks since the last two.
I certainly hope so!

So Saintz takes an engine penalty, Leclerc crashes, Verstappen DNFs and they beat Perez to win. That would be the bizarre accident I was on about.
Or just the top 4 all crash into each other into T1 leaving the Mercs free...

What I want is a battle. I'm not particularly bothered between which cars, as long as we get more of the corner-after-corner racing we've seen in recent races. It would be great to have the Mercs in the fight, making three cars and six drivers. Dream scenario of course. We can hope.

I want the RB to be stopped from running away with it, although through the rules.

Horner reckons that the floors on his cars are legit, but moans, moans, and moans again about Merc gaining an advantage through the rule change. I'm not sure which option I believe.

The second half of the season could be fun.

But no crashes, although a bit of pathos is often welcomed.

Looks like we might have a storm for Quali. Be awesome if Lewis could get pole in difficult conditions then just hold off the others to win..

I really don't want him to lose the record of winning a race in every season.

Ferrari 1-2 is possible, however Verstappen is always strong in Hungary.

If Alonso and Alpine are going to win this year, its this weekend to make that dream a reality.

Mercedes will be there to pick up places from any problems or errors from Ferrari and Red Bull, as they have all season so far.

Naturally I want RB to win, but I wholeheartedly agree with this, I really want Lewis to keep that record as I think it's a fantastic one, and a real testament to his abilities.

Merc should monster this, they have been quick in sector 3 Barcelona, and Hamilton was quickest in the chicanes in Paul Ricard.

The clipping they had at the end of the straights should not be a worry.

However Max needs this to put Leclerc to bed before the summer break.
Fingers crossed for a Max DNF.

Primarily because I can't stand him but also because it will be nice if the championship could last a few more races as a going concern.

Not really other than the dished sidepods. The engine cover doesn't drop as fast (less of a fin on top), it has a winglet at the end of the halo, much bigger mirrors and intake and the wing support is much, much bigger too.

Maybe an "inspired by" but it's no pink Mercedes wink

Flashback to being told that PH isn't tribal and somehow better than those "other" people

AM have gone big with a hungaroring wing

moved the mainplain down and flat to have endplates white retaining the regulartory shapes higher up

it's huge and has endplates so should provide a lof of draggy downforce, but its hungray drag is not an issue

Easy for you to say!

I'm going to go against the grain and say that Ferrari, who should have the fastest car in Hungary, will score the most points in Hungary. I voted Leclerc to win but it might even be Sainz.

I reckon Mercedes are in no man's land again- maybe they can pick Perez off again. The battle behind should be interesting- could be a real jumble with Aston Martin and Mclaren's recent upgrades, Alpine's recent form, Alfa Romeo perhaps rejoining the fray... and who knows where Haas might be with the debut of the white Ferrari. Alpha Tauri and Williams are still working their upgrades out as well. Who knows how the pace of the cars will shake out.

I hope it sets us up for an interesting remainder of the season after the Summer break.

Kravitz spending 5 minutes making no sense and completely failing to make any coherent explanation of AM new rear wing.

Anyone on here fancy summarising that rambling bks into an intelligent summary? Please?

That looks really weird!

AM are saying the FIA cleared it during development, but I bet someone is going to protest it if they have a good P1 session.

I think the same thing happened a couple of races ago, they realised halfway through the session.
Pretty annoying as i enjoy the FP1 & 2 commentary.
