Exceptional pole margin by Porchaire in F2- 0.75 faster than his team mate Martins and 0.9 faster than Verschoor in 3rd.

That was some session from Pourchaire. Looking forward to the support races more than the F1 tbh.

Agreed, the racing, especially in F3 last season was epic. F2 last year wasn't great but the field was quite weak, whereas we have a much stronger overall field this year.

F1 is a bonus to paying Sky to watch F2, F3, IndyNXT & Indycar for me, this year.

Here we go then, first race from Bahrain, and it’s the F3 sprint. A lot of new faces in this series compared to last year, which was a great season for the junior championships.

Apart for some overly long safety car periods, an excellent first race of the year.

A good race to start the season, but the stewards will be having a busy afternoon. Lots of penalties for procedural infringement, perhaps a sign of an inexperienced field.

F2 sprint race about to start, sadly the Sky audio for the commentators keeps cutting out. It was the same for the F3 race.
F1 practice didn't have this issue!

Seems to be okay here.

What’s the deal with these team members and circuit staff bumbling around between the cars during the formation lap start procedure? Multiple driver penalties in F3 and F2 sprint races.

Weird one that, isn’t it. The rules haven’t changed, and everyone knows the times by which team personnel need to be off the grid. The team sporting manager should be giving a countdown to everyone with a headset.

How is Pourchaire so much faster than everyone else in both quali & the race? Amazing.

That was such an entertaining race, incredible pace from Pourchaire and an impressive weekend from Boschung.

I'll keep my eye on Maloney, he had a really good second half of the season last year in F3 and has now started of this season really well with a podium.

Verschoor was almost comical how easily he managed to breeze past nearly all the field!

A very impressive win there, nearly 20s ahead in a 32 lap race. Good action behind him though, those half dozen cars that ended up covered by a couple of seconds near the end.

Victor Martins, really, 0.7s on the field in F2? What a lap.

How did everyone avoid Maloney?
