Okay so they cleared the dead car but still stay behind the SC for two more laps?

And that’ll be that I’m sure. Shame, was an entertaining start.

Can't see that restarting. It'll be getting dark soon?

Problem solved if they fitted 125/70 R18s.

fking fks. No resumption, weird points given. No way that was too wet to keep racing, these guys are supposed to be the best in the world.

After the tragedy of 2019 there must have been a low bar for the Stewards to call a halt to this one.

Antonelli’s crazy (but brilliant) pass through Eau Rouge may have added to their jitters - I certainly held my breath.

No, they’re aspiring to be that.

Infact thinking about this more points for half or quarter distance is bks on a reverse grid race as you doint give the fast 10th and 9th place etc the chance and time to come through the field...

I feel for guys like Bearman who were making great progress through the field until the safety car.

Where I was standing on Kemmel it looked fine to race. The track was barely wetter when they red flagged it than it was at the start. It was raining lightly yes, but not excessively.

I do wonder if they would have red flagged it if the safety car hadn’t already been out for Marti. I also don’t know when Marti ground to a halt there. He could have parked it at the marshal point at Les Combes after crawling up Kemmel and saved everyone the safety car.

About six cars involved in that accident. SC will let those with damaged wings and punctures catch up to the back though.

The F3 race is messy. Championship will go into the final weekend, which should be very interesting and could go anywhere.

Dear F3 drivers. This is supposed to be top-level single-seater motorsport. It’s a non-contact sport, not fairground bumper cars.

It gets to a stage where I can’t be bothered to watch some of these races through to their conclusion as more time is spent behind the SC than in actual racing. I suspect this will be another with two separate unrelated incidents on the same lap

Well let’s see if the F2 boys can behave themselves. Track looks more dry now than for the F3.
