I think they're doing really well - they're certainly not hanging around!

No, he’s withdrawn from F2 to sub for Sainz in F1.

Some pretty decent racing too. Filed is starting to spread out, but 16 seconds covers the top 14 after 8 laps, so not that bad.

Phenomenal opportunity for Bearman - hope he can hold his head together. I wonder how much sim time he's had?

It's been the Hamda Al Qubasi show for most of this but Nobels looks pretty good out it, just driving the lines and soaking up all the pressure.

Would've predicted a bigger margin for Pin.

Scary seeing cars regularly skating up on those curbs, surprised that only Lea Block came a cropper on those.

Have to feel for Marea Marti there. Surely a penalty to come for Lovinfosse.

Surprised that Hamda wasn’t up there with Doriane Pin and Abbi Pulling, she did well at this series last year.

Good race though, I like this series.

My impression was that Nobels seemed to have a bit more straight-line speed for some reason.

Yep Nobels did a good job holding Hamda back. Hope we’ll see Pin and Pulling fighting close tomorrow.

Yep that was bad luck, looked like Lola misjudged that.

My impression was completely opposite: the Saudi girl was getting close to the Nobels on the straights. It seemed like Nobels had a little more wing and therefore was losing on the straights. She defended like a champion.

VERY satisfying to see a girls formula series finally share the GP weekend spotlight AND actually prove to be a series that same fans can transition to and enjoy. This is far above what W series achieved and how it went about trying to be popular with younger viewers.

The comparison is actually laughable! I'm also very glad that it's no longer possible for the winner to settle down and just keep re-entering year after year.. Forced progression is good, healthy and necessary. Having the seat paid for takes away the temptation to see winning just this series as the 'ultimate goal', it's not, its just start and it's good that anyone that enters knows they have to be looking past that target and aiming even higher.

If Oli Bearman is sitting out his pole do they get to use a reserve driver instead ? Or
Does F2 not allow stand in drivers

I don't believe F2 travels with backup drivers. Happy to be proved wrong though.

Same rule as F1, you can’t substitute a driver after qualifying, they have to have taken part in a practice session before the race.
