Good aero efficiency and less importance on tyre wear, I'm going for Verstappen this weekend.

Shame its not closer for the WDC, would have been a great ending to the year.
Could really do with a Lando win and a DNF for Max to spice things up biglaugh
Would be a real shame if an Oscar or a George would just happen to trip over MV as the strategies converge.

One DNF for Max and it’s game on for the drivers’ championship.

Even better if it was really close, and MV lost the title because of that “stuck brake” in Melbourne.
Just hope McLaren dont regret the team orders.

Based on Merc's debrief, James Allison appears quietly confident of at least a podium or maybe better this weekend.

But also states they may abandon the new floor after Monza. They know it improves downforce, but seems to have upset the balance.

I expect Ferrari to pull out all the stops for their home race, but Lando is getting used to winning now so should put in a good showing.

Looking forward to this race.

Thank you Mr Poke, this is my go to site for commentary on the race, look forward to a repeat of the last weeks commentary; “As always Lando’s fluffs the start, Max will canter off into the sunset” “Oh wait a minute, let’s not mention that again.”

Will be happy with any Brits or a Ferrari on the podium.

Whoops. Hope F1 management has a local print shop on speed dial!

To be fair, they often change the driver name signs overnight when there’s a replacement, so I’m sure they’ll have the correct one there before tomorrow morning.

It's going to be fascinating to see how the gap between Colapinto and Albon compares to the typical gaps between Sargeant and Albon.

I notice that the CH4 highlights programmes are truncated to 1hr from the usual 1.5hr quali and 2.5hr race programmes, probably due to the Paralympics coverage.
Hopefully that means they cut out most of the pre and post amble, and just get straight into the action.

I am hoping that too...but I wouldn't be at all surprised if they have the usual length of crap chat and 5 mins race highlights, missing all the good stuff biggrin

I'd really like lando to take a proper challenge to max but it's a long trip and he has to sort those starts out or he will keep getting into trouble, and you really don't want to be trying to pass max while he has more points than you. Grazi Ciao ciao!
Don't worry, the FIA would not let someone keep wiping out/pushing their competitor off the track to win the championship.

You can bet that just before five red lights C4 will run a commercial break full of instantly forgettable ads that brands have paid through the nose to air. Then more ads every ten laps.

It should be closer. Albon was normally driving around the track while Sergeant was normally a few metres off to one side, right up against the wall....
