Did anyone see the article about Danica Patrick being banned by the FIA from TV commentary following some comments about/against LH after his win?

I lost the article and then couldn't find the info again, sounds a bit odd. I quite like her commentary she didn't know too much about F1 but clearly knows whats she's talking about as a driver/competitor. Cant remember if she was on ITV4 or Sky?

I didn't notice. I usually tune in on the hour for the start of the race, but when I did that on Sunday it had already started.

I don't think I missed much by being 20-30 laps in by switching the TV on at the wrong time. McLaren dropped the ball again.

Was there any racing other than Piastri getting past Lando on lap one?

So the Channel 4 viewing of the Italian Grand Prix is reduced to a one hour slot to condense the chit chat, the race highlights and then the summary. This is so that the Paralympics can be viewed by motor racing fans. I’m not watching the Paralympic Games and I didn’t watch the Olympics either. I’m not interested in sports where the governing bodies allow people to cheat by claiming to be women when they’re clearly men.
So motor sports fans suffer.
Glad the internet and Forums were invented.

Real motor sports fans don't waste afternoons watching telly - they are at real motor sport events. And catch up on GP highlights later.

Who is 'LW'?

Anyway, if you want to follow her she's on youtube. This is her latest video...

Its been decades since I vowed never to go any event at Brands ever again after it took 3 fking hours to get out of the car parks!

It's a much broader sport than headline international series . This year , like every year for decades, I've attended everything from big historic meetings, to modern club racing, GT and BTCC , drag racing and speed hillclimbing. I love the atmosphere of live motor sport and the immense diversity we have in the UK. Just we still had a proper F 3 series but now it's the F1 support band nobody watches . Car park issues ? Cripes - last time it took me more tnan 10 minutes to get out was years ago

She's fine as a pundit, but I really hope she's not doing commentary at Goodwood again next week. She was pretty poor last time, and clearly knew fk all about any of the cars she was supposed to be talking about.
She's not - Revival last year was embarrassing - she started on about the red one overtaking the green one. Gawd knows what Marcus Pye or the late HFF would have made of how far it had come off the rails,
Nope, she's back. First event and there she is.
