Perez and Stroll as useless as usual. So frustrating that those seats are blocked from someone young and at least enthusiastic.

As much as I like Red Bull losing the constructors’ title it’s getting rather silly now.

No one has ever regretted anything like Ferrari regretting signing this fossil. What a waste to let Sainz go for this.

Pleased for Lando.

Everyone is so enjoying seeing Perez get knocked out that Yuki managed to fly under the radar. Another massive underperformance from this joker. While I agree he should have replaced Perez, it's not because I rate him highly. Guy has coasted way too long.

Perez blaming literally everyone and everything for his failure again. He never seems to take any responsibility for being a bit crap.

He can be as crap at he likes, he knows enough for them not to sack him.

As discussed on other threads, they don’t care. He brings in a large amount of sponsorship which goes straight to the bottom line, and the team would rather finish 3rd and take the extra wind tunnel time next year now that MV has won the drivers’ championship.

Senior wouldnt ever write anything like that. He's far too classy!

I think CSj is relatively hard done by.

But Fred with a big lump of cash and the OK from Elkan was always going to go after his 1 time protégé who also happens to be a 7 time WDC!

Just seen this interview with Lewis and he seems pretty downbeat with regards to his pace? “I’m not fast anymore” is a pretty damning statment, especially with his move next year. Seems strange considering his performance last weekend? (Lewis is at 5:18)

Not for his performance over the whole weekend - he should have qualified way above 10th if he hadn't messed up twice in Q3 last time.

Despite being an LH fan I can't help thinking Ferrari should have just kept CLC and CS!

He’s playing it smart as he knows Ferrari are in with a shout of the constructors championship and the extra cash that goes with that would benefit him for next year.

Nothing to gain for this year so playing the long game and looking at next year.

I don’t believe this for a second, but if Lewis was trying to game the WCC outcome in any way, then surely it would be in his favour for Ferrari to finish as low down as possible and therefore get a higher wind tunnel and CFD allocation. I can’t see how Ferrari’s prize purse will affect him in any meaningful manner.

Is Hammy doing a Vetel?
He has always looked fast in the fastest car, but maybe his previous teammates at Merc were slow too?
Maybe he can’t adapt to this type of car?
Maybe 2026 will suit him more and he may smash it up and get another WDC?
I think it’s just an attention seeking comment, he loves playing the media. He will be super fast next season.

Lewis may well be losing a slight edge, all top sports people do at some point. He certainly isn’t qualifying well these days. But I’ll keep my powder dry on whether this is a permanent or temporary dip in form until we see him in the Ferrari next year and then the 26 car. He doesn’t seem all that motivated at present. Maybe new surroundings will give him a new lease of life.

rofl Lewis was qualifying well in Q1 and Q2 last week...

Qualy has never been his forte.

He’s 15-7 down vs GR this season. From the guy who has more pole positions than anyone else in the history of the sport, that definitely looks like a dip in form. Despite that though, he is still more or less equal with GR on points so his race performances are still up there.
