Sorry guys, we've had a lot of larger, paid events this year and thats taken up a lot of our time !
Jack surely it would be easier to tack a few more PH events onto other events.I mentioned before about Coventry Motofest for example, I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to get a PH car park set up and the event is already fully organised
Also I'd rather pay say £5 and have more events as TBH I can see there is limited appeal running free events unless fully sponsored elsewhere.

wow, these Sunday Services totally lost momentum... used to be a regular fixture every couple of weeks... real shame
I was thinking the exact same last week....We can assure you that Sunday Services are here to stay. This calendar is not reflective of all the events we've been at this year, with our full events calendar in the main Events forum here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
We've had events every single month this year (bar February), whether being a Sunday Service, Sporting Tour or a motorsport event. As this calendar states, it's a draft that will have new events added to it. We have Sunday Services in the pipeline for August, October and December that aren't yet on the calendar.
I think we only released a calendar about three years ago; prior to that an event was released with about two weeks notice with no prior warning. So rest assured, our free events aren't going anywhere as long as we can find venues that will support us, but they're slightly less frequent now as we're busy organising other events too.
You can always check out the Events forum and your regional forums for PHers organising local meets and drives near to you too

So, Sunday Service news! Next one up is going to be BMW - always great fun with some epic cars to drool over. Plus sausage baps.
Sign up will open up on Monday; I was going to get it up today but BMW have one or two more things to 100% confirm, so thought best to wait until Monday. It will be on Sunday 1st September. Full details to follow!

Local to me and I own two ageing uninteresting BMW's which I can inflict on people (whichever is most working)

BMW Sunday Service calendar is up! Article to follow shortly...
So a bit of a moan (which I’ve said for a few years):So out of the first 200 people to sign up for the BMW Sunday service 23 joined on the day the post went live or after.
Should there/could there not be a thing by you need to be a member for 30 days / certain time period before being allowed to join an event.
At the moment the event is only oversubscribed by about 30 cars however how many members haven’t put their name down as the list is oversubscribed? Also how many haven’t signed up as the thread isn’t showing in the Sunday service sub forum?

Hi - I'm afraid there is nothing planned to restrict new members signing up to events. That would be counter productive for us, as we want new people signing up to the site and to experience our events for the first time. This has been discussed many times, and unfortunately is a situation where we can't please everybody...So out of the first 200 people to sign up for the BMW Sunday service 23 joined on the day the post went live or after.

I'll be sending out a reminder email today to ask people to remove themselves from the list if they can't attend. Also I didn't realise editorial hadn't put the article into the sunday service forum - sorry, will make sure that happens next time.
Cheers!
