Warning to all - m40 northbound appears to have been closed (just now) due to an accident between J11 and J12. Best avoided if you’re on your way...

That makes me feel a little bit better. I forgot all about this as I was in the reserve list and I've only noticed the email, that Ben sent yesterday morning, in my junk folder. Did think about coming up (1.5hr journey) but decided against it and removed my name, but would probably have been delayed even further given the above.

Well that was one of the best Sunday services I have been to for a long time! There was a good mix of cars in the car park and I am always impressed by the facilities at Aston Martin - I always leave there thinking it would be a good place to work.

What I was most impressed with were how many Aston Martin staff there was supporting it, down to a guy offering my little boy a sticker the second he got upset that we were leaving.

Thank you PistonHeads and Aston Martin!

Thanks to Aston Martin, the AM people and PH for a bloody excellent Sunday Service. The hospitality from AM was fantastic, as was the weather.
Even the Police car on the M5 on the way home didn't spoil the day. Being followed and then a wagging finger from plod was a lucky escape.

Lovely morning, cracking weather, stunning cars and finally civilised driving standards.

Thank you PH, AMR and others who helped arrange.

I saw this happen in my mirrors at 8.50am - looked like a black hatchback in the fast line In the distance behind me - tyres smoke, car started to spin, heading towards inside Armco barrier, hit barrier and bounced back then darted off towards the hard shoulder -

Hope they were ok

Really great Sunday Service, the AML staff were great and very interesting to have a nose around the factory.

Thought the factory was off limits apart from the viewing platform
