RE: Bicester Heritage Sunday Service 05/01

Fantastic day out and thanks again for PH for organising our access to this event and the PH team who worked today. We managed to bag parking with PH and as usual saw a great selection of cars from within the community even if the weather was a bit “fresh”. Just a couple of pics I took to show how busy it was and the mad exhaust on this car although I didn’t know what it was.

He was there last year when we got him to start it and explain it. From memory it's two Jaguar engines mated together to make a 12 cylinder and he made everything himself, the mating adapter, exhaust, absolutely everything scratch build on a modified landrover chassis. It's amazingly loudF40, 959, GT40, Type 35, DB6, D Type ... Just a jumble of letters and numbers to the uninitiated, but to anyone with petrol coursing through their veins these embody a lifetime of dreams and bedroom wall posters. Just some of the very special cars on show at yesterdays Sunday Service.
One of the best I've been to ... great work by the PH team in securing this one !

Not forgetting of course the Citroen with a surfboard Great show as always, got to be my favourite car meet as you never know what you'll see - would be happy just to go and walk around the car parkThanks pistonheads for arranging this, I would echo this is probably the best car meet there is anywhere these days. Such a wide variety of cars shown (both pre 90s area and fields outside). Please get a pistonheads section/discount for some of the other scramble events during year if poss.
Thanks to Pistonheads for a great morning. A huge variety of cars on display & the carpark was just as interesting. We even had to stop a runaway Austin from crashing into the gt350 that was parked outside the Legends building. Once we'd put it in gear I went over to the stand the car was part of & informed the staff who didn't seem bothered or appreciative of what had happened which I was rather surprised about!
