I still vote for Caffeine & Machine it's a great location, relatively central, and they're used to hosting clubs and group events

I think this is a good suggestion, plenty of parking at the side as well if all the spaces by the building are gone. £10 ticket price (at the weekends I understand) hopefully keeps the numpties away as well.

+1 for C&M or an alternative is possibly something like the Classic Motor Hub in Gloucestershire who have events at their site & apparently have a broad range of cars attending.

Times change, people move on. Stick a disclaimer on the tickets asking people to leave sedately. Discourage the younglings standing around with cameras, encouraging people to boot it as they leave.

It’s a good facility to see lots of cars without getting covered in winter mud. Good catering and worth looking around inside as well.

Be strict on who you let in. Anyone joining PH in the last month should be a No. should work.

yes

It would be nice to have a SS that's a little closer to the SW for a change too.

Come on Ben. Put a posh voice on and call one of the grown ups at MB World. Mid December, Sunday morning. Check the tickets robustly at entry as well to ensure you aren’t being gatecrashed.

I always put my posh voice on biggrin MBW isn't entirely ruled out but I'm currently working on something more midlands based to make it more accessible.

British Motor Museum would be good, to include admission

This place is also excellent, with drives as well, although not huge

Certainly appears that way when it comes to venue choice.

At least Brum is only 200 miles away whereas MBW is 215. frown

Come on Ben. When are you inviting me to Mercedes World? I’ll bring you a nice bottle and bring the old boy in his 2.8 Capri.

I've been talking to some of our usual venues but some are either too busy or still have covid restrictions in place. Watch this space though, I'll let you know as soon as I have something confirmed.

MBW is mostly outside thus shouldn’t be subject to Covid regs. It’s also close to my home address. Come on Ben. Show me attending.

+1

It's a bit of a hike from Cornwall but I'd be up for this.

I would love to get Silverstone back onto our calendar. It's highly likely we'll be at the Silverstone Classic again next year and I'll be pushing for another track taster session Sunday Service, but it has been really difficult with the latter ever since they sold Stowe to Aston Martin.

With regards to a Sunday Service in December – how bothered are people about the F1 on the 12th? If we organise an event on the 12th, would you not go because you want to be home to watch the race, or are you not fussed?
