Why not? Already plenty of miles so no real value to trash. Parts might be an issue if things wear out but that’s the only thing that counts against it.
A lot of money for ‘an old Honda Accord’ though right?
Top of the tree Accord though, would be interesting to find out what parts are only available from Japan. I use the same train of thought with my Crown, Lexus underneath so servicing a doddle - anything else is more of a challenge, but that's enough for me to keep it.
From what I can work out most bits are from lots of Honda's of that era, the K20 bits will all be the same i'd imagine.

Torque GT and Tegiwa among others offer good parts supply for these imports

They have a candy red one under main showroom lights towards the road I drive by after work every evening and I think its stunning. I always preferred Peugeot over Vauxhall, Renault, VW etc and the new Peugeots are nice IMHO. Unlike BMW which I was always mad passionate about (have a 4 series) but they are so unappealing these days.

I agree, I’m a bm fan through and through but I’d choose a top spec one of these over a 3 or 5 series touring ,
Takes me back to when the Alfa 159’s came out with the alcantara seats with red piping…

I’ve a long standing problem hankering after completely unaffordable Ferraris, but have been suffering a bit lately with the Maserati MC20. It just looks so right…

I’m even kidding myself it would be much more sensible to compromise and get a still wholly unnecessary Lotus Emira…

958 series Cayenne in V8 GTS spec. I have a terrible habit of looking for cars I know I won't be able to afford for a few years then trying to guess how much cheaper they will be when I can finally afford them!! I detested these cars when they were new, ugly, profligate, pointless, but now I really, really want one. Go figure.

Both terrific looking cars, the Emira in particular really doing it for me at a not absurd price point.

This - the only road legal TVR Cerbera Speed 12 that's up for auction on the 20th May.

I would undoubtedly kill myself in it but what a hell of a way to go!

I saw this in the flesh while it was in the factory being built. I managed to score a private tour of the place with a friend of a friend. The Swordfish movie Tuscan was there too! Had a drive out in a 4.5 Cerbera with one of the mechanics who scared the pants off me!

I think they look fantastic. I'd be really tempted if they weren't so damn expensive and the reviews a bit scathing of both how it drives, the gearbox and how intrusive the stop/start is.

I've recently discovered they do a JDM only VW Golf GTI estate complete with tartan trim, which naturally sent me down the Jap import / auctions rabbit hole of weird & wonder stuff they have over there.

Mustang GT. Love the idea of one and I probably will get one if I ever get rid of my Cayman S.

Ast if the N/A V8's and a manual at that. Future classic.

I reckon I could see myself going that route in the not too distant future when I get bored of my next car (Boxster) or when it explodes. That or an F TYPE.
