Hey Dinoboy,
Did you sell the car to Max Crane-Robinson ?
I purchased it from him in about 2009/10
Had it for about 3 years, from 2005. Loved it, they feel like a big go kart to drive. Bought a 328gts after, double the price but certainly not double the car. Should have kept the gt4.

Not too well I'd say, still plenty boost and you'd be away
I vividly remember my 2013 CLS63 AMG being kept very honest by current RS3 in the early bit of an airfield drag thing. It was eye opening. And by "kept honest", I mean losing.
Sure, once rolling and with both turbos lit the 560bhp Merc did the business, but it wasn't the walk-away you would imagine.
In the real world, modern super hatches are very fast.
I mean, modern cars are silly. I once drove an unmodified Escort Cosworth. It felt great, due to nostalgia. But it felt slow and flabby, really.
My Nissan Leaf eats my 1994 E320 convertible for breakfast in both performance and handling at real world speeds.
Of course, that doesn't mean the Leaf is better!

M140i.
Really want one.
Preferrably a manual, and one where someone has already sorted out the diff and suspension mods.
Straight 6, understated Q car looks and mini drifts on tap at sensible-ish speeds.

Future classic and will be come E30 325is-esque in pricing one day for sure.
In terms of cars I cannot afford, its been this. I think it looks amazing and in a recent test Henry Catchpole likened it to a Ferrari F40 plus which sounds pretty good to me. It goes on the lottery win list for sure.

Back on planet Earth, I seem to be developing an unhealthy obsession with camper vans lately, not the big bulbous type (though I'm sure they have their advantages) more something like the below. I've often gone for a long drive only to feel tired when it comes to getting home. Yes I could book into a hotel but something about being able to park up near a secluded beach and just crawl into the back for the night really appeals. I also quite like the idea of remote working from the back of one from time to time while overlooking a nice view. Sadly the prices for these types of vans are very high so I'm still trying to man math's my way around it, home conversion?
