BMW 8 Series. I still can't make my mind up if I like the shape or not........ I think the car looks much better in some colours than others. Nor a fan of the matt blue or grey, but in the metallic orange, black or blue it looks good in my opinion.

I've had two now, love them! First was a Sonic Blue Coupe and second a Black Convertible. Supremely comfortable and nice looking cars IMO smile
Had the M8 on holiday in miami, worst car in this bracket by far as ive driven them most of them, really try one before you buy but be sure to try the competition as well, its not a bad car per-sae, just that the other are way better, S63 coupe, Conti, even the RS7!

Exterior looks good tho.

Love that RS4, which also seems quite sensibly priced considering the way the modern classic/90’s market has gone.

I think I will join you in obsessing about it for a while.

Porsches have never really interested me, a bit like McLarens, the older models always appeal later on in life. I know a PH'er had there Singer DLS delivered recently (and now Pete wants to sell it already) and the design and detail was incredible, then this cropped up on social media and i've never lusted after a car like it since the Zonda C12, the colour the detail and the design in my eyes is perfection.

Nope, whatever colour you paint it, it's still an ugly turd.

I have one and think it’s a fantastic car. Not many cars make you smile every time you get in it. As long as you aren’t expecting high levels of luxury you won’t be disappointed. It has heated seats, climate control and the obligatory GTi tartan seats. As a daily it’s great. I have also driven from Dorset to Edinburgh in it and was not shattered at the end of the journey.
As an investment, looking at the second hand prices am sure it will do well in the future. Look at the Lupo GTi. Also it’s a VW GTi that has had great reviews and has been very well received.

I want a Caterham again. Not sure what model to go for though? 310/360 or even a 420. I’m thinking the 420 might be a little to fast for the road (I won’t do many track days). A lower powered one could be more fun on the road.

Agree to go lower power. 310/360 has to be the useable sweet spot before you end up being frustrated in never being able to use the performance. Driving a Caterham like you stole it is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.

Plus I want your Exige so please sell it to me.
