So what am I missing?
What's shown in that photo - nothing is hooked up?
Looks to me like a bunch of car parts arranged to resemble what a finished vehicle might look like. What's shown in that photo - nothing is hooked up?
How can you tell from that photo that the constituent parts aren't actually linked and functional?

I'm just trying to understand the "looks like a bunch of car parts arranged to resemble what a finished vehicle would look like"
I'm asking you to explain to me why you think that, because I'm not seeing it. Maybe you're seeing something I'm not - hence me asking for elaboration.

There are three small rectangular profiles visible that keep the parts in position. Many other components, such as a frame, are missing.
What do you see?
'Double Venom', a Viper 8.4 V10 engine in a Cobra. https://www.whichcar.com.au/features/viper-v10-pow...

Love the colour. I'd stick with a V8 though. And the wooden dash is awful.
I like wooden dashes and was quite prepared to challenge you on that statement ... until I looked at the pictures ... it really is awful!Bodo said:

What do you mean by a functional connection between the drive train and the raw shell? Part of building a vehicle like that it to keep it looking clean and simple.
