Now that's a stat that you don't want constantly displayed in front of you - half a million miles at 18mpg! The cost of fuel would buy you a Porsche 992...

There cant be that many 6.7L engines that have done North of 400k miles that are not attached to rails or wings.

Pictures can tell a thousand lies of course but that’s in seriously good order for 450k miles!

Website wont load but judging from the .com link its in America. This sort of mileage isnt unheard of when they get used as hotshot trucks etc.

Think of them as mini HGV's able to tow 5th wheel trailers and larger light loads without any driver hour rules if I remember correct. They are even rated to tow empty semi trailers to move them around as needed. I have looked into getting one many times in the UK but its not very workable with our system of weights/towing capacitys as a way to tow 2 cars without a full on truck.

A ford F450 superduty can tow just shy of 17tons!

"In this case, a 2006 Ford F-250 blew past the million-mile mark in about four years. Phil Marsella, the Florida man who owned this model, drove his truck an average of 200,000 miles a year. The original engine died after 400,000 miles, but the one he salvaged from a junkyard ran another 800,000, allowing him to hit 1.2 million in just five years. At last check, it was still running, so Marsella may have reached 2 million."

"Hugh and Tammy Pennington, a couple who bought a Silverado 3500 HD to use after Hurricane Katrina, ran their truck to 1.22 million miles in six years. Their secrets were nothing revolutionary, however. The Penningtons simply changed the oil after every 5,000 miles and made sure to wash the truck after a long haul — especially when they drove through snow and heavily salted roads."

An E39 520i with 342000 miles for £595.
Wow that looks clean. Tempting if you could perhaps get it for under £500 just for the curiosity factor

Looks good but that feels like strong money at £1,500. Is this how much 23 year old V70's with a 1/3 of a million miles go for?

The MOT history looks reasonable enough - but I also thought £1500 was a bit steep.

More like £795 territory surely?

My thoughts also. Wouldn't be so bad if it was a minter, but you can see every single one of those miles in the state of it. ~£500 surely.

Being a T5 helps its value, but got to agree £1,500 seems strong.

The rust at the front of a rear wheel arch when it joins the cill means it'll be uneconomic to repair when the MoT is up in May? £10 for each week of the MoT remaining and £100 for weighing it in May/June 2021? It's worth about £350?

Plastic sill covers means no inspection behind them. Could very well keep plodding through a mot like that.

Also if you did want it fixed a backstreet weld job would only be £200 or so to have the holes patched to a mot standard. Ugly of course but would pass.
