Top Gear special style rip off using 3 of the big car youtubers in the states. They are calling it Car Trek.

Enjoyable watching. Multi part series and not all out yet.

I knew Hoovie was doing something with 2 others, that'll explain it. I'm not the biggest fan Tavarish fan so I wasn't sure about it but I'll give it a go.

That crosses the line between an homage and a rip off. The premise, the name, the challenges, even the music are frighteningly close to the original and even closer to the Amazon version. I'm not sure I'd want to go up against Amazon's lawyers (or the BBC's).

But quite fun nevertheless.

Chris Harris Collecting Cars Podcast with Nicky Grist.

It is a fascinating 3hr20m or so. If you can't bear the thought of that, its worth listening to the 2001 Acropolis rally story at 2hr33m20s. https://castbox.fm/episode/Chris-Harris-talks-Cars...

If you spin back 10mins or so from that story, he discusses their 2000 Corsica crash. Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMhSiKG6wfs

It really reminded just how much a big part of life rallying was BITD. ? million people lined the stages on the first day of McRae vs Burns in 2001.

Anyhow, here's McRae's 2001 St1 onboard that is discussed and cited as CH's go to driving video. Obviously it's worth watching all the way through, but I've started it in the build up to it going a bit Derek Bell on the Mulsanne Straight in In Car 956, just with added spectators, ditches, rocks trees, logs and wet gravel.

6 left, in to, 6 right, don't cut, in to, 6 right...
