Maybe it's just me, but I'm getting much more MG RV8 than 250 California from that. hehe Certainly from the back.

I'm sure it's done to a high standard but for the life of me I never understand these repros.
I've seen one of these 'in the flesh' and they are very nice indeed - GRP is flawless. I agree they look MGB ish, but to my eye the genuine California does also. In fairness there are some good bodkits for Z3, in particular these is a Tribute Aston - ish that whilst labelled not as a replica, but an 'evocation' looks very nice (and certainly a lot better than a Z3. There is also a 'Bertini' bodykit which again has flawless GRP and is an original design - some of these bodykits are certainly worth a look to improve a Z3 - I would never pay 90k for one though! So IMHO very much overpriced

I don't doubt that it's been done well and is a nice kit. But, Id rather have a nice 3.0 Z3 without 100kg of bondo and GRP hanging off it. Oh and £85k change 🤣🤣

Advert a month ago,it's been for sale a few years at this price.

Shockingly hasn't sold, maybe because the last MOT shows that it might be scrapped when the next MOT is needed in a few months.
So what to do ? Yes a change in price might be needed...

That's arguably even more delusional than the 90k 250 Cali rep!

Surely you've got to have mental issues to think that stty old Saab is worth more than about 2.5k , especially given all the money (not cheap smile ) that's had to be spent fixing the multitude of issues. It's not mint collectors piece, it's just an old Saab. I'd go as high as 1K for it myself in the expectation of binning it off when the next expensive thing fails or rusts away. biggrin
Yes but of all the jobs that have been done, none were cheap smile

I can confirm that changing the ignition switch is not as big a deal as he makes out, I did it on mine (which I sold for £1600)

£500 for a second hand fk jacket, plus postage, one of which is listed elsewhere for £48, or how’d ya fancy £27k , yep £27k for a board game.

I might just offer scrap value on the Saab as long as he delivers it.

The bloke is as thick as mince.

I understand it is a 'no Bondo' kit - all panels bolt on using original fixing positions. Take a look at this, which shows what can be done with a body kit.

I don't think any would be worth 90k, but I wouldn't dismiss all bodykits per see - some produce a nice vehicle.

you can by a complete fury kit like mine with a chassis for tha same price as that body kit biggrin , genuinely went on there with a open mind. but im sorry.

that is pretty rough!

im not really knocking the kit each to there own. i just really can't get my head around them. and the costs involved.

assuming you do it all yourself accept the paint work.
£9500 , the kit
£5000 , 3.0 z3
£8000, full respray
£5000, misc bits, electrics, wheels & upholstery. ( that's being really generous)
£27500

that's a really nice 911 or DB7 there load of classics and performance cars for that kind of money.

Wow - is it now 5k for a Z3? 6k for that body kit, not 9k, but yes, take your choice and also decide how much you do yourself. it's good to have choices.

Depends on the Z3. A decent 1.9 or 2.2 probably.

Any 2.8 or 3.0 at that money is going to be a rustbucket.

Not always true, still some out there for reasonable money. Manual version too so seems like good value really.

In fairness, that’s only slightly over Autotrader’s retail price (circa £10200)
In fairness too I’m amazed that 10 year old Jazz’s are fetching £9k plus and this isn’t a one off.
Sorry.

A ten year old Honda Jazz is worth £10k?!

Are other 10 year old superminis also £10k?

They're supposed to be good, but I can't see them being good enough to justify that sort of price. eek

I'll soldier on with my 19 year old manual BMW 330i that owes me Shed money!
