People overpay for all sorts on ebay. It’s absolutely amazing how much money you can make for stuff you consider junk or worthless. I put anything and everything on there for sale.

If it's attracted 50 bids to get to over £5k. Then it's clearly worth that to some?
Blatantly been shilled up to that price though, worth £500 on a good day.

Looking at the bid list it does look quite suspicious.

Surely some shill biddery going on with this one?

Or has all the free covid money Dishi Rishi has been spunking everywhere really had that much effect on the market?

Less than 12 months ago I saw a nicer example with lower miles sell for £4k and that took around 3 months to eventually shift.

My sister bought some bedding from a car boot, paid £2 for it all, she only wanted them for dust sheets whilst decorating, they were all very gaudy 60's/70's patterns so she thought about sticking them on eBay, using all the key words that appeal to the usual hipster idiots ''vintage, retro'' etc

Sold for over £200+p&p

Here we go, £50,000 starting price for a modified Mitsubishi GTO!

Not even a mention of mileage (not that it matters at this price)

They must be suffering from lockdown mania

That entire auction is awesome. Were I a multi-millionaire I'd totally be sitting in a coffee shop reading my first edition of Wealth of Nations wearing Neo's coat. With KITT parked outside. laugh

My own fault for watching Wheeler Dealers, the inevitable auto trader search brought this up.
Is it me but is this car slightly toppy?

Crikey. it's not even super low miles. A bargain at 30 times what I paid for my shabby, high-mileage (but better specced) example.

Bramley Sports Cars tax - as punitive as it gets but it's kept them in healthy business for decades. The price of the Merc is crackers - 113k miles, a MOT history showing the march of corrosion, not especially well specced, and they're touting this 4 Matic model as the best things since sliced bread which it isn't.

They do have some nice stock though.
