That's nice, but it's not immaculate and is on cheap rubber.

It'd be a nice thing at £2k, but at 8k it might as well be a million for all the likelihood it'll sell.
Everything they have ranges from toppy to barking.

Would sir like a twenty year old RAV-4? "Increasingly rare", "sought after"?
A fiver under six grand.

These lads are always a giggle with their pricing model, but they've outdone themselves with this 1980 MGB 1.8 - delivery miles, and...wait for it...£39,990. rofl

A fun little knockabout at £4k, but the best part of £40?!?!?

And another "low miles so let's just make up a number" special, this 1800 mile 1990 XJS 5.3, yours for a mere £99,900. rofl

I was looking on AutoTrader for a newer Volvo for £8-9,000ish to compare.

Have I got the complete wrong idea about the value of older Volvos?

Looks very expensive for a civic

Quite a markup for what it sold for on eBay beforehand!

I was more referring to a 1.8 in general. If you'd be willing to pay closer to 40 for a runout edition of a car they sold thousands and thousands of, that's also going to be completely undrivable, good luck to you. getmecoat

Hang on, there is another delivery mileage (actually with fewer miles - 48 vs 65) LE up for £22k. They seem to be missing out on twenty grand of easy margin!

Reading the story that one actually sounds more like the Mathewsons/Banger & Cash car. scratchchin But they did auction 3 delivery mileage MG's.

I can't think of a better use of £10k than for an 11 year old, diesel vectra* rag top! Wow.

  • yes I know there's a lot of difference in reality

How about a one of the ghastly Maybach 62s with 100,000 miles, for £90k?!

I'm sure it's a wonderful thing to be in, but that money for an example with a 100k on the clock seems bonkers - even by the standards of the nutty prices usually asked for these.

Quite like the colour combo, though.

I shudder to think of the running costs of one of those when its hitting that type of mileage. All that weight wearing down components, how far away can an enormous bill be.
