RE: Toyota S-FR concept for Tokyo
Discussion
I have to say i'm interested about this car. Pistonheads did actually drive Sport 800 few years ago:

It seems that they did like it. Damn.

Well at least their pic is honest . No way four grown people will fit at all. But for kids, longer trips or for ferrying around a set of wheels...
Yeah funny how perception changes. Never felt small inside or on the road back then. Three litre 4 pot certainly sounds fantastic, but I don't want to be the one starting the 'could use more ooomph' debate . Wishes: they actually make it, sell it in Europe and they start releasing more cars in that styling direction. Not holding my breath though...

It sure is. The pictures of the S-FR make it look small. I never remember the 924 being known as a small car - one for the classics dwarved by moderns thread! Oh and could you imagine this Toyota packing a three litre, four cylinder engine?
Just what I was going to post. The 924 certainly wasn't small back in the day, it may seem it now but so do most things from back then, even the Jensen Interceptor.Bump - ph search suggests this isn't doing the rounds elsewhere...
3 cylinder, 150bhp, release in 2026/7

Apparently the lights and front grill will be toned down...
