Sorry for the zombie thread revival, even funnier when I saw that I was the last poster.
Ain´t life funny sometimes......I bought a new Dacia Lodgy in December.
What looks like tacky alu wheels are actually plastic covers which extend into covering half the dish.
Lo and behold, under the covers are the same wheels that I found attractive on the Focus three years ago !
I bought a second set and have send them to the paint removal today, after that :
powder coating, they will be my summer wheels.
I think plain silver would be good, or maybe color matching, os is that too naff for this utility vehicle ?
5 of the 7 seats have been removed, now the HUUUGE loading area can take two minibikes
and will also be used as weekend tin tent, 2 meters in length.
These wheels are french origin, I have seen some ridiculous versions, cut-and-weld to 10 inches....

Someone even photoshopped these on a 911:...

Well, not these, but the Focus wheels you've posted earlier.
Their 992 is even better:
Quite a lot of deep fake base spec examples in their catalogue: http://xtomi.blogspot.com/search/label/base_spec
Bring back OEM steel wheels!

To my eyes that looks quite good. Much better than the enormous diamond cut monstrosities and rubber-band tyres they tend to actually come with. As it's an old thread, I can post a couple I sold a few years back, but thought looked good on steels...
My Vitesse 6 saloon... Modified (properly) into a convertible, running a TR6 spec' 2.5l straight six with all the necessary mods to make it work... and wide GT6 steels.
And my old Dodge A100 pick up with the wheels I fitted just before selling it, spent a week prepping and painting these in the kitchen, then my missus dropped her Harley and I had to sell the truck as she was too damaged to climb in it...
