Couple of Mercs sitting here being gradually eaten by the scenery or smashed by passing scum over the years: Ones a C Class, but the one in the background looks like its from the 60's. Putting a brick through that should earn you a firing squad!

No idea of the story behind them as it's not an inexpensive street.
Its a weird slice of land there i can't really figure out what property it would belong to, I'm very curious to the story as they've been there untouched since at least 2010, then at some point between May 2018 and June 2019 is where the transit disappears entirely, someone puts a tarp over the older merc and the windows get put in on everything all in the space of a year???https://www.google.com/maps/@55.9733174,-3.1923832...

2010 until may 2018:
June 2019 onwards:
The idea of cars being dragged back into the garage reminded me of the bit in the Time Machine when he came back to find nothing but tracks leading to a heavy door where he left his transport.

This place is next to my son's school. The Jag hasn't moved since 2011, the Volvo has been there longer, and there's a Clio and R5 penned in by this lot.
£2m+ house and a council driveway.
Sure I’ve spotted that too. Harpenden?£2m+ house and a council driveway.
I have a feeling it had a charger attached when I last went past quite awhile ago.

A local allotment has been getting some treatment in the last few days and this G plate Escort Van was unearthed
I used to have an escort van in a very very similar orange with an RS Turbo engine in it in the early 00s... the paint (orange emulsion I think) had been applied with a roller and without masking anything so all ovals, badges, locks, handles, edges of windows etc... orange. it was very very badly painted - to mask identity no doubt. It hadn't been painted by me.
It came into my possession after being offered it as part payment for a debt - no paperwork came with it and I have no idea if it was a ringer or whatever, but it was only with me for a few days before a knock on my door one evening by some pretty heavy blokes that I wasn't going to argue with. The chap who gave me it, essentially it wasn't his to give away. The chaps were pleasant enough and knew I wasn't 'in on it' and they had a key for it.

It's a Transit. It doesn't have the vent run across the bonnet in front of the base of windscreen.
Course it is!Looks like a restored W108 could be worth £20k.
