A couple of points on interest where fate intervened !

I visited Colin Crabbe a few weeks ago to chat about his amazing book 'Thrill of the chase'
I have read more chapters since and realised the GTO that Dad and & I did not buy in 1971 for £6200 was owned by Colin...not only that but we looked at it a couple of days after he part exchanged it for a Roller !
Chassis number 3767GT now owned by JCB and painted grren

Here it is at The Revival driven by Alain de Cadenet

Another quirk of fate,,the Iso Grifo Bizzarini I photographed at Snetterton in 1965 is almost certainly the one my brother & I could not afford five or six years later....see Book 1.

Thanks for the twin pack that arrived this week.
Read the GTO bit and feel for you!
Interesting regarding the difference in Muiras you experienced, one being sorted and the other not.

Great read and good luck with the continued fund raising.

Hi.

Just read through the thread with fascination and increasing trepidation that I may have missed out on a copy of the books...

Thankfully I made it in time - just ordered a twin pack and the pdf - looking forward to a few quiet evenings reading.

Thank you!

Peter.

Just ordered a copy for my old man.

Do you do some work with the National Youth Orchestra? I think my friend Adam, a cellist, may know you slightly.
