I sent a link of my web site https://jaad ad cwerwr to a mate who is an MOT tester today to show him some of the pictures I have been collecting... he came back to me with a registration number and said to check the MOT history of the car on the government site, which I did...eekeekeekeek

Seems the guy comes in to the test station every year with this old golf pickup, that is falling apart. My mate tests it, and the guy goes away and fixes whats wrong. One year there was so much wrong, it took him longer to fill out the fail list than do the MOT!! laugh He thought that was the end of it... but no, a few months later it was back againbiggrinbiggrin

The MOT is up in Feb, he is dreading its return!laugh

Can anyone post a worse one?

Agreed.
You'd hope that someone who had been on PH as long as he has would know better.

That list is ten years of MOTs in one list. I doubt that is even in the worst third of tests.

Here's the most recent fail with numbers, there are only 5 fails and 1 advisory:

-=-=-=-=

Test date: 13 February 2016
• Test Result: Fail
• Odometer reading: 186,511 miles
• MOT test number: 4232 9943 1025
• Reason(s) for failure
1 - nearside rear Suspension spring mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded outersill - (2.4.A.3)
2 - offside rear Suspension spring mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded spring hanger to chassis (2.4.A.3)
3 - nearside front Suspension spring mounting prescribed area is excessively corroded chassis on floor (2.4.A.3)
4 - front Fuel pipe insecure (7.2.1)
5 - offside rear rear parking brake recording little or no effort (3.7.B.6a)

• Advisory notice item(s)
1 - rear Exhaust has a minor leak of exhaust gases (7.1.2)

-=-=-=-=

All the data is on data.gov.uk (albeit not updated since 2013) so it should be possible to find some corkers...

You'd also hope he wasn't reusing a bunch of pictures that have been all over mechanic meme Facebook pages for months and them calling them a collection of 'his own' gathered since he acquired a camera phone.
