Looking at the cloud formation, and the people at the bench, your shot and the video still were only a handful of minutes apart!
This might be the most Pistonheads post ever made.

The original OP ruled on this matter several years ago.

Super cars and rare cars. Unfortunately the title is grammatically incorrect hence folk get confused.

I took it to mean rare cars as in rare supercars which by their very existence ARE rare as supercars aren’t on every street corner. To see some ££££ Ferrari on the same page as a Triumph Acclaim is just weird.

Just put the classics where they should be, in the classics section, it ain’t hard. I have no interest in supercars so that’s my bias probably!

Triumph Acclaim parked next to a Ferrari is peak PH. Come to a Sunday Service and you get this variety. It's excellent.

If you've no interest in supercars why are you in this thread? surely you should be in the classics section if you don't want to see them.

Not being funny but just don't understand your thinking.

Speaking of the unremarkable but rare…
It’s sad that many perfectly good serviceable cars like that got destroyed in the ‘scrappage scheme’.

I Iove seeing cars like that about more than modern supercars.

Vauxhall have made some great cars yet seem largely forgotten now - people still seem to drool over the pre Parry Jones era Ford tat like the £24k Orion on the overpriced thread.

I have posted a pic of a supercar in here in the past ... and that's what I thought the thread was for - not a mix of cars, super and not so super.

COOL CLASSIC CAR SPOTTERS POST
This has come up from the very start of the first thread. We have typically used the OPs feedback to guide us.

The original thread with some intreszting contributors including TBops. How did he afford those cars?

You know for me the pleasure for is in seeing how the more innocuous 'finds' get as much feedback than the obvious supercars - like the Saab, and now the Austin!

Hmmmm I do see what you're saying - I'm settling down to a nice cold cider, as this spotting stuff is hard work - but for me, the fascination is that a lot of these are real one-offs. Ok, most people hate the chav wagons that murder people's ear drums on suburban streets but when you see something that costs probably 500k (car and wacky makeover) then it's alluring. For many there is no difference. But that's the story. I probably get at least as much satisfaction spotting an old S6 than I do a garish 599.

Right now, I'd love it if people could shed light on the old Jag on previous pages and I'm trying to get to the bottom of this SL69!

I'm glad people are appreciating the pictures.
