Does that have any suspension travel on it at all ???
Would imagine it's in pretty stiff coilovers, will be made for fast road / track so not much of an issue.jonobigblind said:

Parrot.
Lazy posting by me, not aware of any discussion and just tagged my response on to a post I just read. Can’t imagine anyone posting on this thread would mistake a 620 for a Beemer. Recognised the car as a press one so figured I’d drop that into the thread.

Fellow PH member? The 996 looks familiar
Indeed he is. The GT2 is a bit of a weapon as well. Pothole said:

Sadly I didn't get a photo as it looked like the car might have ceased to proceed and I thought it might not have gone down too well but I saw a single seater, sort of Formula 3000 looking, at the exit of a local petrol station this afternoon.
I remembered the registration so looked it up later on the MOT history thing and it's down as a 1987 Van Diemen RF981ST.
I didn't know they made any road going cars and there is very little info online.

That's not a UK registraton number. How was it on the MOT checker?I remembered the registration so looked it up later on the MOT history thing and it's down as a 1987 Van Diemen RF981ST.

That wasn't the registration number, that was the vehicle make and model as it is on the MOT history checker. The registration ended with VDM, which made me think Van Diemen, but I'd never heard of a road going one.
It looked quite surreal, and spectacular, in the surroundings!
I've covered the registration but here's the MOT history page for it.
