Hundreds of pets are sold daily to people who do not have a clue how to look after them.

How do you deal with that?
I don't believe it's ethical or professional to do so. But many wrongs don't make a right - and someone with a professional qualification and operating a business selling live animals should have processes in place to ensure they don't sell to people with a very high chance of killing said animals through lack of knowledge. Posting 'I knew they had little chance of success, but took the money anyway' doesn't look great.

This has to be the most extreme example of thread drift ever on PH laugh
In fairness, given that the original thread hadn't as much drifted as crashed backwards into the greenery, I see it as an improvement! smile

Looking back, I realise now that keeping a baby ostrich in a kitchen with exploding bananas wasn't, in all fairness, a good idea.
