Often these electric car charging points are often right near the shops. If they put them out of the way its less likely they would be used by normal cars. You cant compare parent and child and electric charging spaces to disabled spaces.
Easier/cheaper to run the power cables I'd have thought.mikefacel said:

Another hospital appointment today.
It's bad enough that this electrical cabinet blocks the pathway but the thoughtless paramedic parks so close to it that it forces people in wheelchairs to go over the muddy grass.
I hope you have written to the Hospital and expressed your views on this, if you dont, nothing will be done about it, at least you can say you tried. Maybe a letter in the local rag as well. It's bad enough that this electrical cabinet blocks the pathway but the thoughtless paramedic parks so close to it that it forces people in wheelchairs to go over the muddy grass.
Are the paramedic vehicles actually in a designated parking area?

But I think I have a valid point - why can EVs park anywhere, but ICE only park in certain spaces?
Because the people who own the parking space say so. You do not have any right to park anywhere but on your own land, and even then there might be difficulties, it is only at the consent of others that allow you to park elsewhere, and it is their right to remove that consent whether you agree with it or not.gazza285 said:

Wait, wut?I do have the right to park on public roads.
And who tf can tell me where I can or can't park on my own land?!
