RE: Prior Convictions: Forgetting your roots

Modern cars are good, there's no denying that, but they are also mostly over-styled, shouty & at normal road speeds, DULL.
I can absolutely understand why someone would want a new / old one - I can't understand why someone would want a track-only one, but that's just me.
Perhaps for "sufficient" money & plausible deniability, chassis plates could be changed? Maybe that's the point, the 25 cars get the headlines & tell the world that every part can now be re-made to original spec & quietly some rust & wreckage comes in through the back door & is magically "restored" & sold - after a believable amount of mud has accumulated in the arches - for £5m.
Who knows?

That this place is full of people (and equipment) that have been restoring DB cars since 2007, and that many of these men and women were also building AMV8s, Virages, DB7s and Vanquishes pre-‘07, makes it a bit of a no-brainer doesn’t it?
Absolutely. When I was there last week you can see them being worked on from the showroom. An amazing sight and a tribute to "Works" for keeping these skills going.
