The "Sh*t Driving Caught On Cam" Thread (Vol 4)

It's extraordinary bad bit of driving. He should have never ended up going on to the wrong side of the road. I'm not so sure 70 was excessive.
Anybody going towards a blind bend on a hill at 70 has to be fully aware, unless you know the road well, that you are entering an unknown risk. Road positioning and gears is king here. In this instance I would've brought the car towards the middle of the road here as quite clear, to see which way the road went adjusting your speed if it tightened allowing the car to make the apex.
Good to hear the biker was not killed he had no chance of missing the Subaru!!!!

Don't matter how well you know the roads, you can't see around the corner.Anybody going towards a blind bend on a hill at 70 has to be fully aware, unless you know the road well, that you are entering an unknown risk. Don't matter how well you know the roads, you can't see around the corner and have no idea what's there, cyclists, broken down vehicle, animals, or some idiot coming as fast as you your way.Anybody going towards a blind bend on a hill at 70 has to be fully aware, unless you know the road well, that you are entering an unknown risk. If they both drive that road regularly I wonder if they both usually go wide exiting that corner for a good run onto the long straight, and usually they get away with it, but not this time. It certainly looks more like the driver intended to take that wide line rather than the car having sudden understeer or whatever, and from the way the second car reacts it looks like they too intended to take that wider line but managed to slow down and keep it in the left lane.

A bit rubbish again. 2.09. The car could clearly see the biker was nipping ahead and what he was going to do. He was desperate to get back ahead.
6.23 Why even take the risk of running the car off the road?
6.32 Could see that coming a mile off.
