Reasonably high up on my right wrist. If you want to see, you'll have to go all the way back to my Evora vs 355 video.

A video which still gets the odd comment, telling me how I could do it better. From people who haven't noticed it was my third video.

Looks to me like he is going for a bit of a rebrand - although he has now uploaded a Civic review which I suspect is from before the new look, as it doesn't have the same feel or production as the C63 vid.

Although if he's trying to be a proper journalist he should have tried to connect his phone to the car properly as it's a piece of cake to get it to stream Spotify so he shouldn't imply it doesn't work well without actually trying.

Hey chaps,

I have been left behind a bit my the new youtube generation stuff (I am 40 something) but based on this thread thought and I would have a look at some of the guys mentioned on here to get myself up to speed, had a good look over the last week or so. Will take all the good car content I can get......

As you lot have suggested there really is a spread of quality, seeming with some of the quite awful guys having quite a lot of viewers....surprisingly. I suppose this is because a lot of the channels are really just entertainment, and not really for us car geeks.

Really liked "Cars with Luke", obvious honest guy, no awkward/cheesy/OTT/fake smiles to camera, real car fan with a great locations and photography.

Like JayEmm and his genuine car guy chats to camera....not sure about those shirts though J....

STG, Schmee and Harrys Garage are OK/worth a look.

TGE, Archie, Seb D, Emma W, Blondie all cringe/appalling entertainment type channels flogging various rubbish and talking the same. Those Sentinel "keys" are shxt eh!

Wasnt the original 1 series compared to looking like a boot?
Most probably! I have a 1 series and must admit it's not the best looking car I've ever owned but the straight six, rwd combo in a hatchback is a winner for me!

Yup. Lucky morons who managed to get on the YouTube car vlogging/blagging bandwagon at just the right time.

I get that TGE has some natural charisma and confidence thatnappeals to 'lads' but the constant stupid "chaos" "bedlam" etc whilst talking about doing his weekly shop or having a poo is amazingly annoying.

Emma and Blondie are both attractive blondes, not remotely my type at all, but know sod all about cars and mostly get freebies based on being female.

Archie is a child with no discernable redeeming qualities.

Seb is a horrible, lying, money-grabbing, coat-tail riding, daddies money, weasel-esq annoying little st who can't present anything without mumbling and repeating himself.

Now now, don't hold back, what do you really think of him?

Collective thoughts on the Car Throttle channel? I know its part of a wider social media company, but I really enjoyed watching some of their stuff recently.

The 'Mega Spec' Merc for 990 quid was great content (I am a frequenter of the barge thread after all) and the cheap sports car thing.

Has a whiff of old top gear about it with the three of them doing these challenges, which is no bad thing IMO.
I enjoy it. They don’t take themselves too seriously and a lot of it is quite entertaining. The buying cheap car challenges is normally quite good fun.

I ended up really enjoying the series with the Mazda RX8.

QFT

Let’s go down Dub Customs and get a chaos wrap yo. It was all timing, and fair play to them, but they won’t be able to stick around much longer with this “business model”. Because TGE is a finance guy in London he has the income, but the views will drop off.

They’re not anger issues if you’re voicing them biggrin

It helped the mechanics were a good laugh and really clicked with the presenter
