Which cars are made in Castle Bromwich?
Jaguar saloons and coupes. They've been late to the partial switch from diesel to petrol and are behind the general curve for PHEV cars. Plus they have a very limited product offering - the XE has no estate version being just one example.

they started spewing out cars too fast. i'm all for growth but it was never sustainable.
and if youre on a 3 day week whats the vibe pay wise - only 3 days pay?
Says full pay in the article. Guess theres some serious savings to be made not running the plant 2 days a weekand if youre on a 3 day week whats the vibe pay wise - only 3 days pay?
The models which that plant produced are starting to get a bit long in the tooth now, XE, XF and F-Type. They will have had a major run over the last few years but I could expect the order book to cool down with new 5er, E-Class and now A6 since these were launched. The horrendous quality and agricultural diesels wont be helping matters either. To be fair to Jag, saloons are falling in popularity and the XE and XF are (I presume) this plants bread and butter.
It is weird, I barely see any new XF's on the road, I must have seen only a few in years. The old XF on the other hand....it just seemed to grab peoples attention something far from doing it the 2nd generation has.
The XE well I looked at one and walked away in under 5 minutes. That killed that stone dead.
Flipside not building an SUV there is killing it as well. They are only building models which are not as in demand.

The I-Pace is well ahead of their competition as well.

They have the E-Pace though and the market is moving from estates to SUVs.

E-Pace and I-Pace both built in Graz, AustriaThe I-Pace is well ahead of their competition as well.
There is a new Land Rover plant in Slovakia, as well as others around the world serving local markets.
Castle Bromwich is on a 3 day week.
Deduce from those statements what you will....

none of those are built at Castle Brom though. The F pace is built at solihull on the same line as the range rover Velar and RRS and the E pace is built in partnership with somebody in Austria. The I-Pace is well ahead of their competition as well.
I have no Idea where the I-pace is getting built but doubt it will be a UK plant.
