I love how everyone has decided how Mustangs must have an 8 cylinder engine, arranged in a V formation.

Based on what ?

56 years of the Mustang being around, in terms of even modern human history its not that long.

Things change, I like the noise a V8 makes but who says a Mustang has to have a V8, imagine if Ford brought out a V10 or V12, would that be ok or do we go all Rain Man "Mustangs must have V8's".

Who says Teslas have to have an electric motor, someone stick a V8 in one FFS.

This will out accelerate any production Mustang ever made, can always make your own V8 noises if you want, I have it on good authority some Sainsburys trolleys have full antilag fitted....
In all honesty I'd not be that interested in a V10/V12 mustang either. IMO the muscle/pony car is all about the crooked 8 - I know that there are a number of hot-hatches which will smash my camaro performance-wise. I don't care, I love that way mine sounds
