As usual PH comes out with "you could have X instead!", completely missing the point!

Really?

Similar power, Honda NA and higher RPM limit, Honda 70kg lighter, both 2.0, FWD, LSD, etc. I think it is a valid comparison, and even if(?) the Megane is a better drivers car, it will only be marginally so, so not justifying an enormous additional cost.

But one will be in the scrap heap in 5-10 years, the other will be worth more than you paid for it, so hardly a comparable car

No doubt special, but I'd far rather have this if I was spending ~£30k-ish..

If you had £30k to spend on a second hand car you would buy a Megane? hehe

Seeing how stratospheric the price of some limited run cars have gone in the last 5 years I don't think this is bad value at all

Nonsense, unless you're referring to the inferior Renault build quality sending that to "the scrap heap"?

The prices of all of the prominent Japanese tuner cars of the 90's and early 2000s have shown strong gains in recent years, the DC5 is already on the up, and low mileage, well cared for examples will go up accordingly.

"being one of the best front-wheel drive cars to drive, as opposed to perhaps the very best, is hardly a bad place to be."

Not sure why you would ever spend 32k on this when the next gen Megane Trophy R can be had for the same price, if not less.

My pulse did quicken slightly on spotting that. Surely there has to be a Dealer or two from Keighley with integrity?

Yeah why spend a mill on an F40, when a new equivalent would be cheaper rolleyes

It's actually our car, been sat in the showroom for that time, we have reduced it right down to clear. Look up our reviews on google to show that there is some good dealers from Keighley.

I do often wonder how many customers we lose just from being in Keighley? A perfectly good car but then people see the location and dismiss it.
